Heather graduated from The Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado in 2003. The training consists of three units that are generally completed with 18 months to 2 years. Certification as a Rolfer requires 730 classroom hours of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, ethics, and Rolfing techniques. Heather pursues advanced education opportunities each year. She has completed a series of biomechanics class and a visceral manipulation class with Liz Gaggini, Advanced Rolfer, and her Rolfing Movement Training with Mary Bond and Carol Agneessens. Heather completed her five Advanced Training in Brazil in 2008 with Hubert Godard, Pedro Prado, and Lael Keen. Currently, she is working on becoming a certified Biodynamic Craniosacral Practitioner. This is a 700+ hour training (350 hours in the classroom) over a two year period with Michael Shea. This work informs her Rolfing practice and is a body of work that stands on its own.
