What is Rolfing Movement?
Rolfing Movement sessions are done with the client fully clothed. The focus of the session can be on many things: changing a coordination pattern, changing a postural habit that is no longer useful, igniting a stabilization chain in the body, evoking more fluid movement, awakening a new sensory awareness, relaxing detrimental tension that is no longer needed. The practitioner uses subtle movement, cueing, guided imagery, and movement experiences to evoke new ways for the client to experience his body, the world, and relationships. It is a powerful add-on to a Rolfing Structural Series and is a great stand-alone option.
